Production start: 1994
The CSA303 was introduced in 1994. It is a hybrid valve / transistor pre-amplifier with a total of 4 valves. Employing E88CC or 6990 low noise triodes at the differential input stags of the phono amplifier as well as the line section of the amplifying stages. Same principe of circuitry also used for the CSA14 and CSA28 integrated amplifier of the time.
The mk2 model was introduced in 1998 and employs remote-control. As a special feature, the remote control digital receiver circuitry is completely shut down when selecting the inputs manually. Furthermore, the number of valves in the line stages of this model was increased to 4 pc. with a total of 6 valves including the RIAA section.
1 x RIAA input (MM)
4 x Line inputs
1 x Tape monitor loop
Remote System (mk2 model): Copland RC101
