The CTA15 power amplifier was introduced in 1984. Rated at 2x12 Watts employing EL84 power tubes, it was the first invention from Copland.
The extended use of PCB technology was seriously reducing the timeconsuming labour usually incorporated into the production of a tube amplifier and the CTA15 came with a price tag within the means of many audiophiles in the 1980s.
