The first amplifer from the 1990s was the CTA401 integrated tube amplifier. The amplifier became highly acclaimed worldwide and ever since, the exterior look with the characteristic rotary hat knobs in a symmetrical front panel layout has been a hallmark of Copland amplifiers.
